Werder Sporting Director Thomas Eichin Recommends Akpala To Reading

Nigeria international Joseph Akpala is on brink of temporarily ending his Werder Bremen nightmare, with Reading set to offer him a contract after impressing manager Nigel Adkins during trials .
The championship side hope to complete the signing of the former Club Brugge ace before the close of the transfer window.
Meanwhile,â Werder sporting director Thomas Eichin has recommended Akpala to Reading, stating that he will be a good acquisition should the club offer him a contract.
Thomas Eichin told regional newspaper Kreiszeitung Syke : '' I am convinced that Joseph will show that he is a good guy, a good player.''
Joseph Akpala's contract with Werder Bremen runs out in 2016. From all indications, The Royals will sign him on a season - long loan deal.
He is in the possession of a Belgian passport and will escape the strict work permit requirements in the United Kingdom.
