Nigeria international Ayodele Adeleye is on the brink of joining Russian moneybags Anzhi Makhachkala.
Now a free agent, the 24 - year - old central defender has been without a club after he severed ties in a bad way with another Russian Premier League club Kuban Krasnodar.
Championat.com says Dele Adeleye has arrived the Republic of Dagestan and will put pen to paper on a contract with the Eagles on Saturday.
Few weeks back, the Beijing Olympic silver medalist was set to be offered a contract by Krylia Sovetov Samara after impressing during trials, but manager Gadzhi Gadzhiyev departed the team to take over managerial duties at Anzhi following the dismissal of Rene Meulensteen.
Dele Adeleye previously represented Sparta Rotterdam, Metalurh Donetsk, Tavriya Simferopol and Kuban.
