Fanendo Adi Made Copenhagen Debut Without Getting Work Permit
Published: August 26, 2013
Nigerian youngster Fanendo Adi made his debut for FC Copenhagen on Sunday, and was on target after just 6 minutes in the 1 - 1 draw with FC Vestsjælland.
Before the game, the striker had no residence or work permit but his International Transfer Certificate was in place.
Bold.dk with reference to Ekstra Bladet quoted DBU official Henrik Andersen as saying : '' The only thing we are looking at and are responsible for is whether the team has player's certificate.
'' All legal matters concerning residence and work permits are a matter between the authorities and the club.''
This means FCK won't be sanctioned by the Danish Football Association for fielding Fanendo Adi.
