FC Copenhagen Won't Risk Fanendo Adi In Future Games
Published: August 28, 2013
FC Copenhagen fielded Fanendo Adi in Sunday's Premier League game with FC Vestsjælland despite the striker not having a residence and work permit.
Today, the Sporting Director Carsten V. Jensen stated that the club won't risk Adi in future matches except the paperwork is in place , and this could happen before the tie against Viborg this weekend.
'' Normal procedure in such a case a few weeks, and this case has been with the Immigration Service for about a week, so one can hope that we get him ready next week. And if we are lucky we might already have him for the Viborg clash,'' Carsten V. Jensen told sn.dk.
Fanendo Adi was on target against FCV, netting after only 6 minutes.
Contacted by bold.dk, Director of FC Vestsjælland Gert Hansen declined to comment further on FCK's use of Fanendo Adi.
