Official : French Second Tier Club CA Bastia Snap Up Sunday Mba
Published: August 29, 2013As first published by the online edition of regional newspaper Corse Martin, newly promoted French second - tier club CA Bastia have completed the signing of Nigeria international Sunday Mba on a one - year contract.
The 24 - year - old midfielder departed the shores of the country last weekend to formalize his switch to the Corsican outfit.
And after a routine medical, which Mba passed, he has been unveiled by CA Bastia, who finished third in last season's Championnat National.
The African Cup of Nations revelation had attracted interest from clubs in Ukraine (FC Karpaty), Romania (CFR Cluj) and Serbia(Red Star Belgrade) before deciding to pitch his tent up with the Island team.
Sunday Mba will play with the number 28 jersey during his spell with CA Bastia.
