Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona is expected to make his debut for Rizespor on Sunday in the Super League.
Recall that the 23 - year - old could not feature in last weekend's tie against Trabzonspor because of missing paperwork.
But his International Transfer Certificate arrived Turkey earlier in the week, meaning the central defender has been given the green-light to play his first match as a foreign based professional when Rizespor lock horns with Kayseri Erciyesspor.
Godfrey Oboabona will wear the jersey of Rizespor until the summer of 2017.
The Black Sea club, which also parades Uche Kalu, currently occupy the 10th position in the championship.
He has been named in the Super Eagles squad for the World Cup qualifier against Malawi and will arrive Calabar on Monday.
