Sunday Mba's CA Bastia Deal Hits The Rocks
Published: September 02, 2013
As first published by fcnaija.com but confirmed by allnigeriasoccer.com, CA Bastia's move for the Nigeria international Sunday Mba seems to have hit the rocks.
The transfer fee demanded by the Warri Wolves brass thought to be around 1 million euros was too unrealistic to be met by the newly promoted Ligue 2 side and as a result they have called off negotiations.
'' Mba is coming back home, the deal is dead. They asked for too much money,'' a club insider told allnigeriasoccer.com.
24 - year - old Sunday Mba is believed to have turned down a move to Serbia powerhouse Red Star Belgrade as his priority was to play in one of the top European leagues.
He will now remain with Enugu Rangers until the end of the Nigeria championship.
