Stephen Keshi Targets Three Points Against Malawi
Published: September 06, 2013
Nigeria manager Stephen Keshi is banking on his strikers to bury their chances against the Flames of Malawi on Saturday in a World Cup qualifying fixture.
Since the African Cup of Nations, the Super Eagles have managed to score only 8 goals in 7 matches excluding the 6 - 1 defeat of minnows Tahiti.
'' If it happens that the strikers can’t score, it doesn’t mean that they are not good but I know the kind of quality strikers I have in my team, once the goals start coming in, it will never stop and am not here to score 20 goals, one or two is enough for me as long as I have 3 points,'' sasy Keshi to Brila FM.
Emmanuel Emenike (Fenerbahce), Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow) and Victor Moses (Liverpool) are expected to lead the Eagles charge for goals tomorrow.
