Ahead of the draw for the play - off round of the African World Cup qualifier billed to hold in Cairo on September 16, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi says the team is ready to face any opposition.
Nigeria qualified for the last stage of the qualifiers thanks to the easy 2 - 0 win over Malawi on Saturday, and Keshi has now stated the African champions are not afraid of any country.
'' I’m confident in this team. The team that played today can face any side.
'' I don’t care about which team we’ll be playing in the next round,'' Keshi said.
Note that Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia have booked their places in the last round of qualifiers.
