Golden Eaglets Leave For Qatar September 19
Published: September 08, 2013Nigeria's Under 17 National Team, the Golden Eaglets defeated Amakson Football Academy 4 - 2 in a tune-up match on Sunday played at U. J Esuene Stadium.
Midfielder Musa Yahaya notched a first half hat-trick for the Manu Garba tutored team.
Nansel Selbo, a second half substitute, scored the fourth goal for the Eaglets.
Solomon Dauda and John Ogehi were on the score-sheet for the Abuaja based Amakson Football Academy.
The Eaglets will depart Calabar for a training tour of Qatar on September 19.
Nigeria has been drawn in the same group as defending champions Mexico, Sweden and Iraq for the 2013 tournament holding in the United Arab Emirates from 17 October to 8 November.
