Eagles Arrive Kaduna For Burkina Faso Clash
Published: September 08, 2013
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel and Liverpool new recruit Victor Moses will not feature in Tuesday's international friendly between Nigeria and Burkina Faso, officials have disclosed.
Both players have been permitted by manager Stephen Keshi to travel back to the United Kingdom.
Thus they will not take part in the tie against the Stallions.
The Nigeria squad arrived Kaduna on Sunday evening and immediately went to the African Continental Hotel to have some rest.
The last time Nigeria faced Burkina Faso was at February's African Cup of Nations.
Sunday Mba netted the only goal of the match as the Super Eagles were crowned champions for a third time.
