On Thursday , Football\'s governing body, Fifa released its monthly ranking of National Teams. <br /><br />The Super Eagles are now ranked in the 36th position, meaning they fell one place from their position when the ranking was last released. <br /><br /> Nigeria, who are the 4th best team in Africa, improved in the continental ranking and that means the country will be seeded when the African World Cup qualification play-off draw is conducted on September 16.<br /><br />Based on the September ranking, the Eagles could meet&nbsp; Egypt (8th in Africa), Burkina Faso (9th), Cameroon (10th), Senegal (11th) or Ethiopia ( 25th) in the next stage of qualifiers.<br /><br />The next Fifa Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on October 17 , 2013.<br /><br /><br />
