EXCLUSIVE: Golden Eaglets Trip To Qatar Hanging In The Balance

The officials and players of the Under 17 National Team were due to depart Calabar on Thursday, September 19 for a training tour.
But the Nigeria Football Federation has not yet received green-light from the management team of Aspire Academy located at Al Aziziyah,Doha.
“ I doubt if the Golden Eaglets are going to Qatar’s Aspire Academy . The Nigeria Federation is yet to get a response from the academy.
“The 34 players in camp will be trimmed to 25 if at all they are to leave for a tour,” a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Nigeria Under 17 National Team - three - time World Champions - are in Group F of the tournament alongside defending champions Mexico, Sweden and Iraq.
They will play their seventh final if they qualify for the tournament’s last game on November 8.
