In - form Edward Ofere Good Enough For Premier League
Published: September 23, 2013
When Edward Ofere returned to Sweden last summer, it was a surprising that he signed a contract with Trelleborg FF, who play in the third tier of Swedish football.
There have been five goals in six games for Eddie, and the club believes the striker can play in the Premier League again.
Fotbolltransfers.com with reference to Fotbolldirekt.se quoted TFF manager Stefan Nilsson as saying : “We are satisfied. He has scored a lot of goals, but above all, he draws attention. He creates space for Linus (Olsson, attack partner).”
The ex Lecce man only signed a short term deal with Trelleborg , and the club would love to continue their collaboration but realize that it will be difficult.
“He will not play in Division 1 for another year, but if we go up in Superettan so it is possible.
“We have not discussed it at all yet, but he himself has commented positively on the way.
“So we'll try to get up now, so we will have a discussion with him after the season,” says says Nilsson to Fotbolldirekt.se.
