Cardiff City have crashed out of the Capital One Cup, losing 3 - 2 to West Ham United in the third round on Tuesday night.<br /><br />Manager Malky Mackay made 11 changes to the squad that lost to Spurs last weekend and handed Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie his full debut . <br /><br />West Ham raced into the lead thanks to goals from Ravel Morrison and Matty Jarvis before being pegged back by Craig Noone and Peter Odemwingie.<br /><br />But West Ham got the important match winner through Ricardo Vaz Te with 3 minutes of normal time remaining.<br /><br />Odemwingie&rsquo;s strike after 75 minutes was his first for Swansea City following his deadline day move from West Brom.<br /><br />The 32 - year - old&rsquo;s previous goal in a cup game came against Cardiff City&nbsp; in January 2012.<br />
