Published: September 26, 2013
Over the summer there were reports that Brøndby and OB Odense would acquire FC Midtjylland player Sylvester Igboun, 23.
The Nigerian attacker has now confirmed interest from both teams, but did not find it interesting to leave FCM in favor of one of the two clubs.
Bold.dk with reference to BT quoted Igboun as saying :“According to my agent, Brøndby and OB wanted me. But I thought that FCM have a better team than those two teams, so it would be better to stay here. ”
He continued :“Brøndby and OB are battling at the bottom, so if I want the best for myself, I should be here. And so I want to give something back to the club, these people have made me who I am today.”
Sylvester Igboun ’s priority for now is to move to a foreign team should he depart the MCH Arena, Herning.
