Eddy Onazi : We Showed Character
Published: October 04, 2013
Lazio midfielder Eddy Onazi, 20 , has commented on Thursday’s Europa League clash against Trabzonspor which finished 3 - 3.
The highly rated starlet was on target in the 29th minute, his second goal in Europe for the Biancoceleste.
“It was a very important game. We showed character in the final minutes and could have won, but we drew.
“What Petkovic said at half time? He urged us to go forward and win the game,” Onazi said to Sky Italia.
Eddy Onazi will join the Nigeria squad for the World Cup qualification game with Ethiopia after this weekend’s Serie A tie with Fiorentina.
So far, he has made 4 appearances for Lazio in the Italian championship.
