Oguchi Onyewu Linked With Valencia

La Liga club Valencia are in the free agency market for a central defender and have beamed their searchlight on USA international Oguchi Onyewu, who recently terminated his contract with Sporting Lisbon.
Tuttomercatoweb.com says there has been contact between the leadership of Valencia and Onyewu, and a deal could be closed in the coming weeks.
The USA international has experience playing in Spain, having previously defended the colors of Malaga.
He is desired by manager Miroslav �uki� as substitute to Adil Rami, who has been suspended from the first team for insulting the coach plus his teammates.
Onyewu , 31, is likely to sign a one - year contract with Valencia.
