Published: October 07, 2013
Sam Sodje’s proposed move to Blackpool has fallen apart after he failed to agree personal terms with the Championship outfit.
The experienced defender is now a free agent after his expired contract was not renewed by Portsmouth.
If the move to Bloomfield Road had materialized, Sodje would have reunited with his old boss at Notts County, Paul Ince.
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com, the 34 - year - old said: “I am still searching for a team, and I have left it now to my agents to handle.
“I am just training on my own until something comes up.
“I discussed with my former manager Paul Ince but we didn’t agree to a deal.”
In a career spanning close to 15 years, Sam Sodje has represented Reading, West Brom, Leeds United and Charlton Athletic amongst others.
