Investigation:Maccabi Netanya Striker Kayode Olanrewaju Has 100 Signatures*Player is a pawn in the August 2014 NFF election
*How NFF’s men goofed and relied on fake documents
*Who signed documents claiming Olanrewaju signed?

In about 35 documents involving the Taiwo Ogunjobi versus Kayode Olanrewaju saga prepared by ASEC Mimosas FC of Cote d’ivoire, this newspaper can reveal that the said player has not signed any two documents with the same signature!

The simple interpretation is if he signs 100 documents the same day, he is capable of signing all differently!

ASEC Mimosa of Abidjan currently has the player’s contract. In their letter to the NFF on the saga, dated 4th September 2013, the club said of the player: “You will find a set of documents signed by the player and you will notice that we find many different signatures (documents No. 11 to 14).

“The strategy employed by the player mislead our vigilance shows his lack of honesty and his willingness of manipulation. Does he deny the signing payment receipts, the signing of his contract with FC Lucerne, the signing the licenses…? It is clear that the player wanted to cheat.”

A cursory traverse of his documents including salary slips both in ASEC Mimosas and FC Lucerne showed inconsistency in his signatures.

The petition he allegedly signed has a signature which is different. Likewise the letter he purportedly wrote to excuse himself from the meeting of the Chris Green panel.

Whereas, the texture of the writing looks similar but eminently different from all he has been signing though with irregularity from his clubs and forms he has signed over the years.

I also doubt if the same player has the quality of language to write that well given our exploration about him.

The depth and touch in the petition looks haggard compared to the issues he was addressing and the manner and choice of words in the letter meant to excuse him in the second whereas the signatures on both letters are too resemblant but strikingly different from all his inconsistent signatures!

How come the player who is not in Nigeria expertly understands the political undercurrents going on in the country’s football? It is obvious that some people harped on concocted plots and are using the player’s name to play football politics.

However, it is good we warn, with what we have gathered in our three weeks sojourn around the niches for the details of this report, the boy’s career will be ruined, Nigeria may get banned by FIFA and the people who used him will likely lose out or and abandon him when the head is of the neck. This mess will certainly get messier by the time we are through with our reports.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have a record of forging signatures to make up certain positions they want.

It will be recalled that this reporter had to engage the FIFA President, Joseph Sepp Blatter before the Ethics committee over forged signature emanating from a document brandished by the NFF as coming from FIFA.

The same scenario is replaying in this matter. We hold a firm believe that Mr Kayode Olanrewaju DID NOT sign the petition and the excuse letter in the Ogunjobi saga.

If indeed he did, he should be made available to any Nigerian media of their choice for an interview where he will need to speak like a brilliant graduate of a Nigerian university given the content of the two letters.

Our conclusion therefrom is that, though, Olanrewaju has been proven to have dubious character when it comes to signing documents, he is certainly a pawn in the chess board of the 2014 August NFF election.
