Swedish Clubs, Viking, FC Vestsjalland Chase Edward Ofere

Edward Ofere has played in the Champions League and has experience playing in the Serie A, but is now playing in the third - tier of Swedish football with Trelleborg FF.

For next season, Ofere wants to play in a bigger championship and there are reports linking him with teams in Scandinavia.

“The goal was to come back and play football again, which I had the chance to do. I’m back to 100 percent now, I’m happy with,” says Fotbolltransfers.com.

 “I want to come back and play football at the highest level in Skandivanien or Europe. I feel ready now.”

His new agent Romadi Kidane tells the Swedish website there is a great interest in the player.

“We’ll see what happens, there have been several requests from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It remains a possibility so we’ll see after the season,” said the agent.

A continuation of Trelleborg is out of the question.

“It is clear that Ofere can not continue to play in Division 1, he is too good. Five-year Malmo FF and games in Serie A with Lecce says it all,” Kidane added.

 Landskrona BOIS, Falkenberg FF, Viking and  FC Vestsjalland are amongst the clubs believed to be monitoring the situation of the 27 - year - old attacker.
