World Exclusive: Arsenal, Two English Clubs Battling To Sign Highly Rated Starlet Kelechi Iheanacho
Published: October 28, 2013
English Premier League table-toppers Arsenal are on the trail of Nigeria Under 17 international Kelechi Iheanacho.
Britain’s leading newspaper The Sun reported today that the Gunners are monitoring the performance of the attacking midfielder, who put himself in the shop window after scoring four goals against Mexico at the Fifa Under 17s currently being played in United Arab Emirates.
Kelechi Iheanacho’s agent , Henry Galeano of First Eleven Management of the United States told this portal that Arsenal must see off competition from two other clubs in the United Kingdom to land the signature of the highly rated starlet.
“That is correct, he is being monitored by three major clubs in the Premier League (including Arsenal). Due to confidentiality agreements we have, I am unable to officially release the name of the clubs,” Galeano said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
In addition to being followed by British teams, it is understood that Iheanacho is on the radar of clubs in Germany and Spain.
