Kehinde Fatai To Switch Allegiance To Romania

The Romania Football Federation has intensified efforts in its pursuit of former Nigeria Under 20 international Kehinde Fatai, currently representing Club Brugge on loan from Astra Giurgiu.
According to the electronic edition of Sports Day Greece, the Romania Federation is hastening the process of issuing the Nigerian a Romanian passport even before the World Cup play - off game against Greece in November.
Per Fifa rules and regulations, Fatai is eligible to represent Romania after living in the country continuously for the past five years.
Also, he has not made a competitive appearance for the national team of Nigeria at senior level.
Kehinde Fatai first defended the colors of Farul Constan�a when he arrived Romania in July 2007.
