Nosa Igiebor Fails Late Fitness test, To Miss Malaga Clash
Published: November 03, 2013
It is now confirmed that Nosa Igiebor has been ruled out of Real Betis showdown with Malaga on Sunday.
The Nigeria international spent a few minutes on the pitch in the last workout but has been dropped by manager Pepe Mel for the tie at Estadio La Rosaleda due to a groin discomfort.
The same ailment made the 22 - year - old miss the mid-week La Liga clash with Levante.
All through the week, club medics did their best to get Nosa back to shape without success.
And a late fitness test before the squad was announced on Saturday did not give a positive signal.
This season, the Nigeria international has made 7 appearances in the Primera Division.
