Gabriel Agbonlahor Wants To Extend Aston Villa Contract
Published: November 07, 2013
Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that he would be willing to extend his contract which expires in the summer of 2015 and would want to end his playing career with his boyhood team.
Speaking to Birmingham Mail, Agbonlahor said: “I’ve still got a year-and-a-half left, which is a long time in football, and you leave things until the right time. It’s about playing football at the moment.
“It is hard in this league to be a one-club man, but it’s always been on my mind to play for Villa until I retire.
“It feels weird even thinking about putting another shirt on.”
27 - year - old Gabby Agbonlahor previously had loan spells with Watford and Sheffield Wednesday, back in 2005 to gain first - team experience.
