Sporting Lisbon Preparing To Launch Bid For Anderson Esiti

Sporting Lisbon are on the trail of highly rated Nigerian teenager Anderson Esiti, according to influential Portuguese sports daily Record.
The leadership of Sporting Lisbon has made enquiries on the availability of the Leixões SC midfielder, but no official bid has been submitted.
Sporting Lisbon are in the market for a central midfielder as they could lose William Carvalho, dubbed the new Patrick Viera, in the January transfer window.
The Lions face competition from other clubs in Portugal and abroad for the signature of Anderson Esiti.
Anderson Esiti, a former student of Dore Numa College, Warri has a contract with Leixões SC until June 2014.
