Eddy Onazi Dismisses Liverpool Quotes

Lazio midfielder Eddy Onazi has distanced himself from reports at home and abroad that claimed he would love to wear the jersey of Liverpool.

The reports had claimed the 20 - year - old talent was watched by scouts of Liverpool when Nigeria met Italy on Monday in an exhibition game in London.

“I came back from London yesterday morning, some people have told me that they have read this interview .

“I did one interview in London, but I was not asked this question on Liverpool. This is very strange.

“I am under contract with Lazio . I like Lazio and I am fine here,”the Nigeria international told Lazio Style Radio.

According to confirmed reports, Eddy Onazi is on the wishlist of Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Fiorentina, Galatasaray and Wolfsburg in the January transfer window.
