Published: November 25, 2013
Finnish top division club RoPS have signed Nigerian defender Faith Friday Obilor to a two - year contract extension.
Obilor’s previous contract with the cup winners was due to expire at the end of the 2013 season but he has been rewarded with a new deal which sees him remain at the club until 2015.
And this puts an end to speculations surrounding his future, with reports linking him with a move overseas.
“I am glad that Faith Obilor still wants to continue with us. I appreciate Obilor’s qualities - hardness and courage - which are features that must be seen in the whole team in the coming period,”says manager Malinen to the official website, rops.fi.
Defensive partner Uchenna Emenike Mbachu, 24, has also extended his contract with RoPS.
