Published: November 27, 2013
The future of Nigerian superkid Kelechi Iheanacho is only days away from being settled.
The U17 World Cup winner’s agent, Henry Galeano, has told tribalfootball.com he’s now in advanced negotiations - with several clubs in contact.
Galeano said: “The latest regarding our client Kelechi Iheanacho? We are finalizing a contract and I might be able to share details shortly.
“Multiple clubs have shown interest in the player.”
He added: “We will have an official update shortly.”
Several rogue agents have attempted to muscle in on Iheanacho’s transfer, but Galeano insists his company, Inter Sport Management, are in charge of negotiations.
“Yes, we were here before Kelechi Iheanacho was a global name.”
