Fifa Ranking : Nigeria In The 36th Position

Football’s governing body, Fifa released its monthly ranking of national teams on Friday morning.
Despite the 2 - 0 victory over Ethiopia in the World Cup play - offs and a credible 2 - 2 draw played with European powerhouse Italy in the month of November, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are now ranked in the number 36 position.
In comparison with last month’s ranking, Nigeria, who are the 4th best team in Africa, dropped three places.
European and World champions Spain continue to top the ranking followed by Germany, Argentina and Colombia.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on December,19 2013.
