Sports Day : Stephen Keshi Should Expect Transaction Alert From His Bank
Nigeria gaffer Stephen Keshi should be expecting a transaction alert from his bank next week, with the narration outstanding wages now paid’. <br /><br />The electronic edition of <i>Sports Day</i> is reporting that the NSC has dipped into its cash reserves to offset the overdue seven months liability being owed the Super Eagles manager by the Nigeria Federation.<br /><br />“I can tell you categorically that Keshi will be paid all the seven months’ salary that he is being owed by the NFF. <br /><br />“He will be paid next week, because the minister has received approval from the Presidency.<br /><br />“We happy that the presidency weighed the proposal on the objective details provided by the minister and the approval came out today (Thursday) for the ministry to pay next week,” a source close to NSC supremo, Bolaji Abdullahi told sportdayonline.com.<br /><br />Stephen Keshi gets paid an equivalent of 25,000 euros a month, 10,500 euros more than indigenous Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah, who also qualified his team for next summer’s World Cup.<br />
