States Commence Play-Off for Oba Aromolaran Unity Cup

State qualifiers has begun in the 36 States of the federation to determined the team that would qualify to play in the National Under-18 Soccer Championship instituted in the name of the paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolan.
The finals of soccer tourney which would be played in Ilesa according to the organizer, A Square Sports International was introduced as the contribution of the respected monarch to the youths and grassroots development in the country.
The official unveiling of the soccer tourney and cup presentation according to president of A Square Sports, Adebo Babalola would be done at the palace of the Owa Obokun of Ijaseland in Ilesa where details and modalities concerning the football championship would be unveil to public.
“Oba Aromolaran has been a good lover of youths and advocate of development of Nigerian sports at the very grassroots, exhibiting this is just one of many ways he had been pointing to for our sports administrators, well meaning individuals to toe in saving our teeming youths from the pangs of poverty and idleness”, the Babalola noted.
He added that after the state play-off which had started in all states of the federations, each team would qualified to converge in Ilesa for the finals.
