Odion Ighalo Nets First Brace Since May, 2012
Former Under 23 National Team skipper Odion Ighalo says he is delighted with his pair of goals as well as Granada’s 2 - 0 victory over Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey.<br /><br />Odion Ighalo was on the score-sheet just after the half hour mark and in the 81st minute, and this took his tally to three goals in all competitions in the current campaign.<br /><br />“Happy for the victory of the team and the goals, especially being aware of the difficulty involved in a visit to Santo Domingo. <br /><br />“This field is very difficult for us going by the history with Alcorcón. I am very happy to have won here.<br /><br />“On the second goal I am very calm. Whenever you get a ball in the box, have to be quiet,” Odion Ighalo said to granadacf.ideal.es.<br /><br />24 - year - old Ighalo had previously not scored a brace since Granada’s 2 - 1 win over Espanyol on May 1, 2012.<br />
