Obafemi Martins On The Radar of West Ham

According to the Daily Telegraph ( UK Edition), West Ham are in the market for a new striker to solve their offensive problems.
The leadership of the Londoners has beamed its searchlight on out - of - favour Nigeria international Obafemi Martins.
Obafemi Martins, 29 , is not new to English football having previously defended the colors of Newcastle United and Birmingham City.
It is assumed that the Seattle Sounders marksman will arrive the Hammers on loan in the January transfer window which opens in the next 20 days.
The Nigerian netted 8 times in 21 MLS matches this past campaign.
