Vincent Enyeama Nominated For Player Of The Month

Once again, Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama has been nominated for the best player in Ligue 1 after wining the prestigious award for the month of October.

For the November award organized by the UNFP, the Lille custodian has been nominated alongside PSG superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Florian Thauvin of Marseille.

Vincent Enyeama was unbeaten in the four matches played in the French championship in November, with Lille picking up 10 out of a possible 12 points.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagle believes Lille can win the title this season ahead of current pacesetters PSG.

Vincent Enyeama told L’Equipe : “If PSG allow us, we can become champions. Paris is the best team in the Championship. (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, (Edinson) Cavani is the top.

“Ibra does things we do not understand. They are 100%, they are untouchable.

“But do you know what my slogan in the locker room? “Nothing is impossible ” I managed great things with faith.

“When I look at our team, I know we can do the same. LOSC has a boring game? Greece won Euro 2004 by defending only.”

Lille are third in the Ligue 1 standings with 36 points from 17 matches., 4 points less than table toppers PSG .
