In Fenerbahce’s last match in the Super League against Karabükspor, the home fans tormented former player Emmanuel Emenike.
The 26 - year - old attacker was jeered and booed by the crowd and he was not pleased with their action.
Fanatik.com.tr quoted Emmanuel Emenike as saying: “I did not deserve this behavior because my best performances in the league came in that city.
“And because of this situation, they should show me some understanding. I am a professional footballer.
“Currently I am defending the colors of Fenerbahce. I must fight on behalf of my team to win, it is normal.”
In the ongoing season, the Super Eagles marksman has notched up 7 goals in 15 matches.
