Exclusive: Stabaek Will Not Exercise Option To Buy Chuma Anene

Norwegian - Nigerian attacker Chuma Anene is set to return to Vålerenga after a loan spell with Norwegian club Stabæk.
The 20 - year - old impressed the leadership of Stabæk in the three months he spent at the Nadderud Stadion, Bærum and his 4 goals in 12 games assisted the club in their push for promotion.
But the newly promoted outfit did not exercise their option of acquiring Anene outright at the end of the 2013 season.
“I am going back to VIF after this year,. 8 of January. I have a year left of my contract, but I will most likely not be playing there next year.
“I am going to sit down with my agent and talk about the options we have now,”says Chuma Anene to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Some unnamed clubs outside Norway are understood to be monitoring the transfer situation of Chuma Anene, who has caps for Norway Under 16 - 20 teams.
