Purple Patch Continues For Emmanuel Emenike
Published: December 29, 2013
Fenerbahçe defeated Kayserispor 5 - 1 in the Super League on Sunday evening to go eight points clear in the standings.
The game which took place at the Åükrü SaracoÄlu Stadium, Istanbul saw Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike scoring the fourth goal for the Yellow Canaries after 70 minutes.
The 26 - year - old attacker has now scored 8 goals in 16 matches, 2 strikes less than the leading marksman in Turkey, Burak Yilmaz of Galatasaray.
It is worth nothing that Emmanuel Emenike has been on the score-sheet in each of the last three games in the championship.
Fenerbahçe, who also pay the wages of Joseph Yobo for now, will host Konyaspor after the winter break.
