Queen Ejovwo Scores On Al Arabi Debut
Published: December 31, 2013
Queen Ejovwo completed a routine medical in time to make a memorable debut in the colours of Al Arabi Ladies against Al Khor Ladies in Doha on Monday.
The skillful fullback stamped her authority and endeared herself to the Qatari club with the game's opener via a 25-metre freekick in the 5th minute.
Signed from Bobruichanka in the winter, the 21-year-old defender made one goal and scored a sublime freekick as Al Arabi shared the points with highly-fancied Al Khor, who paraded Spanish women national team players.
It was a good deal for me, after spending a year in Belarus.
Born on 17th December 1992, Queen played for Confluence Queens and FCT Queens before moving to Belarus where she donned the jersey of Bobruichanka.
The Delta-born ace who was presented with her favourite jersey number 33 dedicated the excellent show to God.
“I dedicate the wonderful performance to God who has been faithful to me till now,” Queen told Facebook platform, Naija Female Soccer.
