Published: January 01, 2014
Standard Liege attacker Imoh Ezekiel is disappointed that the Belgian club failed to qualify for the knock out round of the Europa League.
The Reds finished bottom of Group C with only 1 point from six matches, a stark contrast to their form in the Juplier League.
“The Europa League was a disappointment for me personally and the team, but sometimes that’s football, there’s nothing we can do.
“Furthermore, that chapter is now closed, we have to look forward to 2014 and try to win the title., We can put everything on the championship,” Imoh Ezekiel was quoted as saying by belgiumsoccer.be.
So far this season, Imoh Ezekiel has netted 8 goals in 21 league games.
