Official : Sunday Mba Pens 18 - Month Contract With CA Bastia
Published: January 02, 2014
French Ligue 2 club CA Bastia have secured the signature of Nigeria international Sunday Mba from Warri Wolves.
Though the financial details and duration of contract were not disclosed, allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the 25 - year - old midfielder will remain in Corsica until June 30, 2015.
It is thought there is an escape clause inserted into the contract signed on Thursday evening that would enable the Nigerian walk away as a free agent should the club lose their second - tier status at the end of the current season.
Sunday Mba will earn less than 10,000 euros a month at CA Bastia.
He is in good physical condition as he was training with the domestic Eagles before his trip to France.
All things being equal, he will make his official debut on January 10 against Niort.
