Deal Done : Ijeoma Obi Inks One - Year Deal With Bobruichanka
Published: January 09, 2014
Former Minsk striker Ijeoma Obi has agreed to join Belarus Women Premier League side Bobruichanka on a one- year deal.
This is a major coup for the Belarus League runners-up as they build on upstaging their arch rivals, Minsk in the 2014 season.
Ijeoma Obi, a Nigeria international, brings the needed firepower which has been lacking in Bobruichanka’s attacking set-up.
The 28-year-old has also played for NFF Women’s Federation Cup Queens, Rivers Angels in the past.
She played for two seasons at Minsk, netting over 40 goals in official matches.
