This is now official. Per a statement on the Stoke City website, the club has informed that it has reached an agreement with Cardiff City over the transfer of  Peter Odemwingie.

It is a straight swap, with Kenwyne Jones moving in the opposite direction.

The transfer is subject to the Nigeria international passing his medical and agreeing personal plus financial terms.

Probably this weekend, Odemwingie will be unveiled by the Potters.

He previously defended the colors of West Brom in addition to his brief spell in Wales.
