Sunshine Queens coach Boboye: We Can Show More Urgency In The New season
Published: January 26, 2014
Sunshine Queens gaffer Kennedy Boboye has told his players to show more urgency when the Premier League resumes on 15th February and be determined against top sides in the country.
The Mimiko girls defeated Osun Babes one-nil on Friday morning and the coach is already confident of what is happening at the Akure based club.
“I have confidence the best is already happening here.
“I get the impression the management, players and fans are happy with me. That’s the first step, and we can see a big change sooner than we thought.”
Asked to outline his philosophy regarding the team’s style of play, Boboye called for a possession-based game full of hard work.
“I like to have the ball,” he said.
“But when we don’t have it we have to work. Our attitude can win the game and we have to keep narrow gaps between the lines.”
Boboye also praised the Ondo State Governor Segun Mimiko for his efforts in supporting the team.
“His excellency continue to show love to the team by releasing funds as at when due and we are happy for that.”
