The 25 - year - old attacking midfielder comes off contract in November, meaning Rosenborg have no choice but to sell him this winter to recoup some of their previous investments on the player.
John Chibuike pockets 235,000 euros every year at Rosenborg though 110,000 euros is the taxable income paid to the Norwegian authorities.
