Frenage Unveils Ex-Chelsea Coach As New Head Coach
Published: January 28, 2014The management board of the Ibadan based soccer school Frenage Soccer Academy has unveiled its new Technical Director, Coach Fennessy Thomas Harty, a Scottish and former youth football coach with Chelsea FC of London and Celtic FC of Scotland in a well attended event held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan.
Among dignitaries that witnessed the media presentation event was a FIFA/CAF instructor, Professor Babatunde Asagba who applauded the management of the soccer school for investing hugely in intellectual aspect of the game.
The retired FIFA badged referee however, urged the students of the soccer school to make best use of the many opportunities accruable from a soccer tutorial under a UEFA licensed Coach.
Fennessy, while responding to questions from members of the press during the unveiling said Nigerian youths have acquired a very high pedigree for themselves globally in grassroots football and his mission here is to further contribute his own quota own .
While thanking the management of Frenage for the good hospitality extended to him since his arrival in the country about a month ago, adding that Nigerians are warm and passionate people contrary to the wrong notions being spread about them.
