Free agent Seyi Olofinjana defended the colors of Tippeligaen outfit SK Brann about a decade ago.
And it was his imperious displays for the Bergen based outfit that made Nigerian youngsters a hot commodity in Norway.
Few days ago, the 33 - year - old defensive midfielder was in Sweden to hold discussions with Kalmar FF regarding one of the players in the academy he founded, Taiwo Awoniyi.
After the business trip to the south east of Sweden, the Nigeria international has surfaced in Kristiansand, Norway.
“Yes that’s right. Who told you that? I’m here primarily because I need to follow up some academy players.
“I am here to speak with management in Start,”says Seyi Olofinjana to fvn.no.
Olofinjana trained with IK Start, who pay the wages of ex Nigeria youth international Solomon Owello, last summer but declined the offer of a contract.
