TEAP Send Warning Bell To DSS
TEAP FC took a huge step to the new Nigeria National League season with a 8-1 demolition of Future Stars on Friday at Area 3, Abuja.<br /><br />Abubakar Abdulrahman and Afolabi Stephen both scored two goals each, while Peter Hananiah, Chibuike Chimezie, Kapgat Andrew and Kelechi Edenji saw the Donald Malomo boys earning a well deserved victory.<br /><br />The starting line up was altered as Emeka Uzor and Ike Dike both missed the game through injuries. <br /><br />Team captain Ik Uzor also dropped to the bench alongside Kunle Adeyemo, Onyebuchi Chukwu and Saviour Francis.<br /><br />As early as the 3rd minute a dangerous cross by petit Mubarak Saidu found former FC Abuja winger, Abubakar Abdulrahman who netted for TEAP. <br /><br />Two minutes later Tunde Adams combined with Kapgat Andrew and the bulky forward set up Abubakar for the game\'s second goal.<br /><br />Afolabi Stephen helped himself with two goals from the bench, with young forward Kelechi Edenji wrapping up a ruthless game.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Kapgat Andrew has showered praises on his team-mates for a great game played against Future Stars.<br /><br />“First of all I will like to give glory to God for the victory, though we didn<span class=\"body1\">’</span>t expect the huge result, we can take positives from the match, he told teapfcabuja,blogspot.com<br /><br />“We are yet to pick the required form expected from us and I believe the group is capable of achieving great things,”the former Giwa FC striker said.
