Confirmed : Ramon Azeez Invited For Mexico Friendly
Published: February 04, 2014
Almeria midfielder Ramon Azeez might play his first game for the Super Eagles next month when the African Champions clash with Mexico in one of their tune up matches prior to the World Cup.
It is confirmed that manager Stephen Keshi has invited Ramon Azeez, who skippered the Flying Eagles at the Fifa Under 20s in 2009, for the high profile exhibition match against the CONCACAF opponents.
This call up should not set tongues wagging because the Bronze Ball winner at the 2009 edition of the Fifa Under 17 World Cup has been outstanding for Almeria in his first season playing in La Liga.
Ramon Azeez has suited up 17 times for Almeria in the championship, coming off the bench in only 4 of those matches under consideration.
Nigeria will lock horns with Mexico on March 5 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, United States.
