Dutch Federation Suspends Kenneth Otigba
Published: February 10, 2014
The Dutch Federation has suspended Heerenveen’s Kenneth Otigba for one game after he picked up a second half red card against Groningen last weekend.
The central defender was shown a straight red card in the 72nd minute of the tie at Eurobog, Groningen .
He has decided not to appeal the verdict of referee Bas Nijhuis and this automatically rules him out of the clash with Ajax Amsterdam on Sunday.
So far this season, Kenneth Otigba has netted 5 goals in 21 matches from his defensive position.
Heerenveen occupy the 5th position in the standings with 36 points after 23 rounds of games played.
